Saturday, Rick was in the mood for sushi. I don't care for sushi so Pork Chop and I headed to Chick Fil A. We likey the Chick Fil A. Did you know if you dress up like a cow on July 10, you get a free meal.
Anyway, mall. We hung out for a few. Ricky played in the play area. It was really the first time I let him play in there. The kids in there are always so big (too big by the height limit on the sign) and I was always afraid he would get run over. He did some of the running over this time. He had such a gre
at time and it wasn't nearly as busy as I thought it would be. That is another part of the reason - mall play areas are insane on the weekends.

Ate a funnel cake, Rick played some basketball, Ricky played on the jungle gym and with a hula hoop. Then we settled in to watch some fireworks. All was well for about 2 booms. By the time the third one arrived he was completely done.
We'll try again next year. This time, with ear plugs. Or maybe it would just be better if we weren't sitting under the fireworks.
