Happy 6 Month Birthday!!!

Six months already. Wow. Wow wow wow wow.......wow.

So much has changed in six months. Ricky is such a little boy with his own personality. He is doing so well, so much better than I ever could have imagined.

I have also learned so much about myself in these six months. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love him. Just today he was napping and I was editing some pictures, missing him. He was only 30 ft away but all I wanted to do was snuggle and squish and kiss and nuzzle him.

Speaking of which, he's not so much with the snuggling anymore, nuzzling him while playing and tickling is cool. He is just so intrigued by everything around him, he has become quite the little wiggle monster. Just yesterday I picked him up from daycare and he barely even noticed my face, instead focusing on the baseball hat I was wearing. He immediately grabbed the bill of the cap and tried to pull it into his mouth. Yeah...he's teething just a little bit.

Here are a couple pics from today. His gift.....his playroom. It's a total disaster area in this picture and I ran out of the big tiles (which I bought online) so I had to go to Lowe's and pick up some more. We play Boggle with the letters. I have some shelving to put together and a few other things to clear out, a baby gate to mount, some pictures to hang, a net to hang for his stuffies and a few other details but the big stuff is pretty much done. It was alot of work to get this room ready - you guys have no idea how much STUFF was in here last weekend. It was all worth it just knowing that he has a safe space to play. Guests are welcome!

Woohoo - Go Buckeyes! We always wear our Buckeye gear on game day.

We play hard around here. So hard that we fall asleep while playing!

A bit of a disaster area, but you get the point.

On a completely unrelated note, I watched Titanic last night (again). I have seen it a zillion times and the only time I cried was like the first time way back when it first came out. Until last night. I totally got teary eyed at the "Jaaaack. Never let go." part. It took me 33 years to figure out my body before and now getting pregnant has completely changed it all. Wonder how long it will take to figure it out this time around?
