"Sick" Day

Being the responsible parent that I am, I haven't taken Ricky outside all day.  We have a ton of kids who live in our court and balls, bikes, chalk - everything is shared.  The last thing I want him to do is pass on his cooties to someone else.  As a result, house arrest.  Did I mention how utterly beautiful it is outside today?

Also, the little snot got up at 6:30 am.  During the week we have to drag him out of bed at 7:30 am and he has totally spoiled us by sleeping until 8:00 or later for the most part on the weekend but not today.  Ugh.

How do you fill a "sick" day.  You play basketball of course!  Ricky got a basketball hoop back in March for his birthday but we just didn't manage to put it together until today.  Um, dude, he LOVES it.  And it gives him an excuse to throw a ball inside the house.

Notice how "sick" he is?  Yeah, right, sick.  Uh huh.  Whatever.
